Jr/Sr High School Campus Structural Repairs
Repair foundation issues that are causing cracks and separation in the floors and walls throughout the building.
Elementary School Campus Restroom Renovations
Complete renovations on all existing bathrooms at the elementary, to include replacing all of the old clay plumbing.
Jr/Sr High School Campus HVAC Repairs
HVAC system will be repaired at the Jr/Sr High School campus.
Elementary School Campus HVAC Replacement
Aging HVAC system will be replaced at the Elementary School campus.
Jr/Sr High School Campus LED Lighting
Replace all light fixtures at the Jr/Sr High School campus with high-efficiency LED lighting.
Elementary School Campus LED Lighting
Replace all light fixtures at the Elementary School campus with high-efficiency LED lighting.
Jr/Sr High School Campus Classroom Addition
Add 4 additional classrooms and another set of restrooms to the Jr/Sr High School Campus to house 6th grade students.
Athletics Field House Addition
Add on to the athletics field house to accommodate three new locker rooms for junior high and lady mustang athletes (currently housed at the school) and a larger weight room for all athletes.
Band Hall/Library Move and Renovation
Jr/Sr High School campus band hall will switch places with the current library space to accommodate our large mustang band and both spaces will be renovated.
Administrative Building/Elementary School Parking
An administrative building with 5 offices will be built on the Jr/Sr High School campus. The old administrative and tax buildings will be demolished and repurposed for 24,000 additional square feet of Elementary campus parking.
Jr/Sr High School Campus Commons Area/Cafeteria
Large windows in Jr/Sr High School campus commons area will be replaced with high-efficiency tinted windows to reduce heating and cooling costs.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) Classrooms
Add on to the current Career and Technical Education (CTE) building at the Jr/Sr High School campus to accommodate 3 new CTE classrooms.
DEAR CITY VIEW
The Board of Trustees for City View ISD (CVISD) voted unanimously to call for a May 4th, 2019 bond election at their January 30th meeting.
The May 4th bond election is a result of a multi-year assessment of all CVISD facilities and programs. The short and long-term needs of the district were analyzed, and a comprehensive plan was developed within the bonding capacity of the District.
The proposed bond will address school repairs, additions, academics, band, athletics, maintenance, efficiency and capital improvements of programs District-wide.

"The issuance of $IO,OOO,OOO of bonds by the City View Independent School District for school facilities and the levying of a tax thereof."
